Married at 19, in1984, we have been through a lot together. We've raised 5 children, and we cared for Marianne's aging parents until they passed away. With a 9 person household, it was always go-go-go. Life was very busy, and there was no time to start our own business, although it was always our dream. Marianne handled the business end of running such a large household, and did the majority of caring for our children, while I worked, which required quite a bit of traveling, in the early years. It worked, we are a great team, always have been, and always will be. We have built 2 houses together, and had zero arguments, now that, in itself, is amazing. It's no surprise to us, that we are handling this new venture, together, very well. We now have an empty nest, and have been blessed with 6 grandchildren, with 2 more on the way. With no kids at home, we are finally ready to start our own business. To say we are excited is an understatement, we are truly looking forward to making great quality products for our customers.

I've always wanted to start my own business, but never found anything that interested me enough to take the plunge. I was introduced to computers in 1990, and I've been working in IT ever since; and as a government contractor since 1996. I started dabbling in wood working as a hobby in my early 30's, and loved it just as much as I love working in IT. However, with a family of seven, I had to pay the bills, and provide health insurance for our family. So,  woodworking took a back seat, until now.

Now, I can dive into this wonderful, creative world of woodworking, and so much more. With today's commercial grade lasers being in the somewhat affordable range, I can do twice the work in half the time. The finishing process still requires the same amount of time, but the cutting and engraving part, well, this laser is a game changer. We can cut with a hair like precision, both quickly and accurately. Our goal is to produce high quality, high end products, while keeping the prices competitive, yet affordable, for all of our valued customers.
